Has cute characters and songs. Shows that if you believe and follow your heart, you will find your happiness. Its what you would expect from a fairy tale. It tells the story of a small girl no bigger than a thumb who is destined to marry a fairy prince, but she's kidnapped and lost in a very big world. Now she must get back home and wait for her true love, but she must face all kinds of obstacles including a toad, a beetle and a mole. This is actually a faithful adaptation of the original source material. I honestly don't understand why people hated it. Especially when you have songs by Barry Manilow and Jodi Benson (Ariel) voicing the titular character. I'd say it's worth a watch, especially if you have children. See more Read all reviews
