Banker Martin Raikes heads to Monaco to investigate strange financial activity surrounding a film production that his bank is financing. There he encounters the film's star, the washed-up, hard-drinking one-time action star Jake Mellows. Before he can conduct a thorough investigation, Raikes finds himself framed for the assassination of a government official. With both crooks and the law out to get him, Raikes goes on the run, eventually hooking up with Mellows.

Caine admits in the DVD interviews that he did this forgettable thriller as an excuse to spend the winter in the South of France. Keaton's nowhere to be found in the interview section as if he was embarrassed to have been involved. Go to Full Review Christopher Null Filmcritic.com 04/02/2004
