After being appointed the new coach of the 1966 Texas Miners, Don Haskins (Josh Lucas) decides to build a team based on talent rather than race. The conservative townsfolk balk at the new racially diverse lineup despite the fact that the team is winning all their games. When black players like Bobby Joe Hill (Derek Luke) and team captain Harry Flournoy (Mehcad Brooks) begin to dominate the court with flashy moves, the racial tension increases, jeopardizing the future of the team.

If you're a basketball fan, you'll love it. If you're a parent looking for movie inspiration for your offspring, see it as a family outing. For everyone else, Glory Road is an accessible time capsule of American history.

The sequential games building up to the captivating climax are blandly presented when coordinating around a re-used playbook, and there may have been a reason for that when focusing on the humane drama that powers the team then accumulates onto the court. A step-forward from "Remember the Titans" at another societal angle in hardships and complications further pushing the portrayed team in celebrative brevity than accuracy, bolstering a palpable heart from exceptionally energetic performances that slam dunk this as one of the best basketball movies. (B+)

A solid sports movie on a real life team that made sports what it is today. It follows some of the classic tropes but you watch these for those moments and to see some new ones. It doesn't deliver in every area but it was a good watch non the less.

It was a decent movie, but in comparison with other similar sports themed movies I don't feel that it really holds up. It did get better in the 2nd half of the movie, but I really didn't feel like the movie was as memorable as other similar titles.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom
