Hazza F @Hazza10723 4h At first, I was worried that the film's Hangover-style chaos would be too much, but its ridiculousness ends up being one of its greatest strengths. Not only the protagonist but also the supporting characters are given enough depth to show their humanity, flaws, and growth, allowing the film to balance its entertainment surprisingly well. The screenplay is fairly conventional, but the story unfolds in a more engaging way than expected, with very few dull moments thanks to its steady pacing. Some of the comedic scenes are honestly pretty bad, but if you embrace their absurdity, they become part of the fun. It may not leave a lasting impression, but it's an enjoyable film that knows exactly what it wants to be. Kevin Hart does have an admirable go for it energy and the rest of the cast do a decent job of backing Hart up. Ironically, the funniest moments were the bloopers during the end credits. I usually love both Kevin Hart and Andy Garcia, but their talents were completely wasted here. The comedy was more cringe than funny, relying on tired slapstick and every predictable cliché in the book. The plot was paper-thin, and the ending was about as exciting as the ice melting in a slushie—completely anticlimactic. I honestly can't recommend it. It's not even one of those "get stoned and watch it" movies. The only redeeming quality? The cinematography. The Miami locations looked fantastic, and some of the sunset shots were genuinely beautiful. Those frames almost made me book another trip to Miami. Unfortunately, great scenery isn't enough to save what is otherwise a painfully forgettable film.
