It was a disturbing, confusing thing to watch and have since then I remembered as a fever dream. Now I have rewatched it and I still find it very bizarre, but it is a hauntingly memorable movie. Then, the third act comes and it kind of falls flat. But it's still worth the watch, for the cinematography alone, or for you to come with your own theories on what it all means and what unfolds at the end. The editing is striking as it’s full of interesting & creepy imagery. The set design, use of the color green, & focus on water all look beautiful. Yet the story is very dull, shallow, predictable, & drags with the lengthy runtime. The gothic atmosphere mixed with Wall Street characters is unique but full of unoriginal genre tropes.
