Above all it's just plain fun, and the songs are catchy, too. Go to Full Review

Bibo Bergeron's charmingly animated but fiendishly plotted feature is up for an Oscar and just about deserves the compliment for originality, if not for its storyline. Go to Full Review

The film has something of Hugo's Hunchback of Notre Dame, and indeed King Kong, but has an eccentric style of its own: a decent children's film. Go to Full Review

There are moments where the action drags, but ultimately, A Monster in Paris is worth seeing for the beautiful animation and songs alone. Go to Full Review

This is almost more for adults than children, who may not appreciate the richly coloured animation, the lovely period-style music or the gentle storyline that relies on warm humour rather than out-and-out laughs. Go to Full Review

It's quaint, a little rustic but magical in its own way. Go to Full Review

Blake- N @PBSAniDom 4d A Monster in Paris is a wonderful animated film that mixes music, comedy, and adventure into a very enjoyable experience. The movie has a unique charm that helps it stand out from many other animated films of its time. The 3D animation looks beautiful, especially with the stylish Paris setting and creative character designs. The visuals give the film a colorful and lively atmosphere that works perfectly with the story’s playful tone. Another strong part of the movie is its music and emotional heart. The characters are likable, and the film balances humor with touching moments without feeling overly dramatic or complicated. Overall, A Monster in Paris is a great 3D animated film that deserves more attention. Its strong visuals, memorable soundtrack, and charming story make it an easy film to enjoy, and I would rate it an 8/10. See more Noah H @Noah85 Apr 7 I watched this as a kid and absolutely loved it. The voice acting is great across the board, and the story strikes a nice balance between horror, comedy, and romance. It is surprisingly heartwarming. I especially enjoyed the love story between Lucille and the giant bug Monsieur Francoeur. It is sweet and charming in a way you would not expect. The music is also a lot of fun. My only complaint is the animation. I remember it looking amazing when I was younger, but it definitely feels dated now. That is really the only part of the movie that has not aged well for me. Aside from that, A Monster in Paris is a blast. I highly recommend it.
