christopher D @RT92548065 Jul 5 This film is as real as it gets for atmosphere and tension inside a brutal Thai prison. The fact that it's based on Billy Moore's memoir makes every scene totally gripping and gritty in the extreme. Real inmates as the actors makes for a cast so believable and realistic it stands on the shoulders of legendary prison films like midnight express. Unmissable. A true modern classic of it's genre. 10/10 See more Igor S @Igor_Sena May 3 This is a very simple and raw movie. It definitely gave it this sense of realism. The negatives would be that often times there is so much shaky and close up cam that you can't see what's hapening. It is also a bit repetitive but in this type of movie it's nearly impossible to not have some sort of repetitive pattern in it's storytelling.
