Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, members (Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup) of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think to be an uncharted paradise. [The] story falls flat as [Alien: Covenant] cares more about exploring the familiar been-there, done-that territory rather than continuing to embrace the philosophical storytelling approach seen in Prometheus.

Much the same as Prometheus , more questions asked than answered. It wasn’t an interesting film it was just a horror. I didn’t leave me interested in watching the next one

The captains were all dumb. They should have surveyed the planet more before just dropping into a hurricane. That didn’t make any sense.

After much contemplation, I have decided that this is a better movie than Prometheus. Though they have the same star rating, my personal enjoyment of this one was way higher than Prometheus. Alien: Covenant brings a gore and brutal tone to the franchise. It takes everything that Prometheus did good, and exceeded it and did it fantastically. Not much more to say, just overall a really solid movie.
