Why we elected to turn this story into slapstick after the opening scene is a guy who kidnapped a person and then shot himself, no clue. That is bizarre. I don't know if it was a parody or just bad. For example they did that trope where a grumpy bad-*ss character softens up and shows a rare moment of vulnerability. But with Don they repeated that "rare" moment like every other scene.
