All Fun and Games doesn’t use this backstory to complicate or deepen the terrors of its present action... It just stabs itself in the foot and then struggles to run towards its finish line after a strong if straightforward opening act.

It's actually impressive to make a 75-minute film feel interminable. Just nothing here works. The completely disjointed setup - "these are my brothers." Who cares? We don't know who you are, we don't care who your brothers are. The breathy voiceover - "Bhut Sahlhehm hhas a hhistoryh" - girl, why are you talking like it's a '90s ad for an adult hotline? "Sahlhehm" really didn't need to feature in here at all, actually. You can tell a story about a curse without trivializing real people's horrific murders. I mean, there's just not much redeeming material here. Erm...the youngest actor isn't "Full House"-levels of bad acting, just everyone else is? Sorry that this "compliment sandwich" had to stay open-faced. One of the reviewers here seemingly OD'd because of this movie in 2023. Hope ya pulled through, John K.
