All in all, Apollo 11 lasted about eight days from launch to splashdown, and Miller condenses that down to the most interesting 93 minutes. The footage presented on screen is stirring and emotive.

stanley kubrick‘s work still holds up today. I wish during the press conference the guys would have put on a more believable performance. It was a little flat. The greatest lie ever told!

Simply incredible and inspiring! To see real footage and listen to real audio from one of the most inspiring events in history is a privilege and a blessing. The film tastefully selects the proper archival footage and audio and takes a minimally necessary approach to illustrating the various steps required to complete the mission. The focus is definitely kept to the actual footage. I teared up multiple times with this one as a result of the beauty, bravery, and sheer collaborative effort of brilliant minds that made Apollo 11 possible

This is the greatest documentary of all time. Absolutely beautiful footage, can’t believe the film was locked up in archives all these years. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve rewatched this.
