Fabulously original and well crafted film, qualities that obscure its failings but, alas, it is not as good as everyone claims. As with all of Edgar Wrights work, I found Baby Driver frequently missed the numerous golden opportunities to be genuinely funny instead of just being glib or clever. The action was superb and soundtrack/editing spot on, but I found myself not caring enough about the protagonists. I expect it was because of the unrealistic (almost comic book) dialogue and personal interactions, that I fully appreciate may have been Wrights aim. However, the fact remains that I couldn’t get behind them as characters and so wasn’t as impressed by the film as a whole as others have been.

This is a good movie. It’s honestly the first Kevin Spacey film I’ve seen in years. I wish I could watch his movies and appreciate them without thinking of the person he is. Great soundtrack, too.

BEST HEIST MOVIE EVER. This is one of the few perfect movies to me. Story is amazing, cast was incredible, I even bought a signed poster because I love this movie so much. Would recommend to anyone.
