Comedy has the right to simply play for laughs, of course. But when the going gets dark, the risk is a movie that feels out of its depth — scared of the basement itself, and preferring to keep things surface-level. Go to Full Review

A film that asks you to overlook its plot-holes and implausibilities on the grounds that it is a satire -- but a satire saying what, exactly? Go to Full Review

No one is painted as entirely innocent and the performances from the child actors are gleefully unhinged. Go to Full Review

None of this is even remotely plausible ... but Ronan, as always, is so ideal in the role that you’re compelled to follow along as she so expertly conveys Maria’s internal struggles with conscience and moral judgment. Go to Full Review

…black comedy-drama Bad Apples gets pass marks for originality, but it’s hard to fathom exactly what it wants to say about education….ends up preaching a muddled message about inclusion and exclusion that’s hard to get behind. Go to Full Review

tahira B @RT35009137 17 hrs ago 🎬 Bad Apples — Review Film was funny, nostalgic and had a very recognisable UK-school feel to it. The film has plenty of silly jokes and funny moments, but it also has some more emotional and realistic parts, which gave it a nice balance. The actor who played Danny was especially good — he showed a lot of emotion and made the character really believable. The main actress who played the teacher was also great and brought a lot of personality to the role. Haven't seen a movie like this before, I recommend you to give it a watch . 🍎😂 ⭐ 10/10 See more Read all reviews
