Mystic Soul W @Mystic_Soul Feb 26 I didn’t expect Bandit to linger the way it did. It could’ve been just another stylish crime film, but Kraig Wenman’s writing gives it depth. It feels less like a headline about a bank robber and more like a character study about someone who refuses to live small. There’s swagger, yes, but also restlessness underneath it. You can feel the addiction to risk. The pacing never drags, and the dialogue doesn’t try too hard — it just flows. What I appreciated most is that it doesn’t judge him. It lets you sit in the tension of rooting for someone you know you probably shouldn’t. That moral gray space is what makes it compelling. It's slick, fast, and way more charming than it has any right to be! Kraig Wenman’s writing doesn't just tell a crime story — it gives it personality. You're not just watching robberies. You’re watching ego, love, risk, and this deep refusal to live a small, ordinary life. There’s this swagger running through it, but it never feels forced. The dialogue is sharp without trying too hard, and the whole film moves with this restless energy — like someone who’s always chasing the next high, the next escape, the next version of themselves. It’s darkly funny, magnetic, and strangely human. You kind of find yourself rooting for him… even when you know you probably shouldn’t. And that tension is what makes it so good. The plot is wild and the fact that it’s a true story is even wilder. The acting and pacing are good, and I stayed invested for its entirety.
