Batman has been all about darkness, Nolan just makes it a shade darker. Go see it. Go to Full Review

Nolan takes an admirable stab at developing a character-driven drama, only to give in to generic action-movie conventions with a blinding, deafening, explosion-laden finale that could have capped off any number of interchangeable Jerry Bruckheimer flicks. Go to Full Review

Batman Begins summons up moments of great eloquence and power. If only its cast of characters was as fully inhabited as its turbulent city. Go to Full Review

Andrew L 17h So great to see back in theaters! I vividly remember skipping school senior year in high school to see this opening day. We owe a ton to BATMAN BEGINS since it started one of the best movie trilogies of all time and also started the grounded superhero film era. Cant wait for the sequel! See more Ben W 09/16/2023 So great! As an origin story, it works incredibly well. The groundednessand grittyness was great. See more Sam M. @RT71943576 13h Very good film. I thought Christian Bale didn’t just embody Batman well but was also a great Bruce Wayne which isn’t something you always get with Batman films. Liam Neeson was a great Ra’s Al Ghul, but I didn’t admire the twist that he wasn’t actually just a servant to Al Ghul but was Al Ghul himself. I thought Michael Caine was notable as well. Cillain Murphy was great but underutilized as Scarecrow. The beginning of the movie might also be a bit confusing for casual fans of the Caped Crusader. But other than that this movie perfectly balanced fan service and great film quality. Every actor and actress portrayed their roles almost perfectly and that got me excited! Other than a few minor flaws this films cinematography was beautiful and Bale and Neeson had so much chemistry on the big screen. I really hope the next film utilizing the Scarecrow because he is a great villain and I hope he gets his kudos in the next film. So excited for the Joker, and I’m watching! See more Read all reviews
