The tonal shift undoes what amounts to one of the more interesting origins of a serial killer in the making. A thriller without much thrills, Beast is a thought-provoking character study and sort of a dark fairy tale. Go to Full Review

Nickie R. @Nrothwell 1d From the moment Pascal rises from the grass, I was completely captivated by this film. A brilliant job of drawing you in to these characters while never letting you forget about the terror that's going on in the island. Jessie Buckley's performance is so amazing and powerful. Johnny Flynn is not only mesmerizing but irresistibly intimidating at the same time. The cinematography is beautiful. Through all the drama and intrigue, nothing prepares you for the ending. See more HILARY B @HilaryIsJudgey 4d The chemistry between the leads is quietly electric—so real and unforced that it’s more intimate than any over-the-top romance or explicit scene could ever be. It’s a story rooted in character; messy, layered, and deeply human, without hiding behind spectacle. Despite the constant suspicion hovering over them and potentially their heinous criminal acts, I couldn’t help but empathize with them both, which made the tension even more unsettling. I was completely pulled into the lucious, moody forests and coastal scenes, where small-town life feels intimate yet quietly shaped by unspoken tensions and subtle social dynamics. It's been a while since I've seen a gem like this. See more Estefiniane P @RT74142726 Mar 26 Maravilhoso, atuações excelentes a protagonista é brilhante. Eu me surpreendi de verdade . See more Kalissa H. @kali_416 Mar 22 Jessie Buckley is great in this. Amazing acting. Johnny Flynn brought charisma to the character even though the character should be completely hated. And here we are with her less than a week away from what seems to be a slam dunk for Best Actress for Hamnet. And very well deserved, not only my favorite female performance of the year, one of my favorite performances male or female of the entire decade, period. See more Betsy P @RT99483020 Nov 10 Think Bonnie and Clyde on a beautiful island. No Tommy guns but plenty of romantic couple angst. Both troubled, pretty with sketchy pasts, these two tumble thru new love to outright craziness. Worth the wild ride. Ending? You just wait….. See more Read all reviews
