The movie hits some very familiar beats that are often seen in tour documentaries. There's a 'feel-good home movie' approach to the documentary, as opposed to a 'journalistic exposé' approach. Some people will have a problem with that, while others won't.

Fantastic to watch, Mrs. Obama is truly an inspiration and it’s amazing to see the impact she has on everyone from students to us older folks. The movie was so well done, I highly recommend it.

Michelle is so personable. She is able to listen, hear what people say to her. She made the people that she talked to feel like they were amazing, that they could be anything that they want to do. She was able to relate to so many different people make them feel valued. She demonstrated the good things about the US, the goodness of the people. Worth a second watching.
