Historically, grindhouse movies were not known for quality - indeed. most were characterized by inept, amateurish acting and poor filmmaking technique. This brutal, bloody action/drama/Western is no exception.

Rough edges and an excessive runtime aside, this one hits the sweet spot and delivers a good time. Perfect Friday night pizza and beer fare, and still a joy seeing Rothrock do her thing.

Oh my gosh. I gave to agree with the majority. The acting was terrible. It has a hard to believe plot. Cynthia at her age looks like a chubby old lady with tons of makeup, with excessive botox trying to be a western action hero.

Black Creek is a gritty, action-packed western that exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Even though I’m not usually a big fan of westerns, this film grabbed my attention right away and never let go. What really stood out to me was how the film managed to balance its dark, rugged atmosphere with some truly great fights — the kind of martial arts action you’d expect from legends like Cynthia Rothrock, Don “The Dragon” Wilson, and Benny “The Jet” Urquidez. It’s a must-watch for anyone who loves great fight scenes, and a revenged-based story that keeps you wanting to know what happens next.

The beginning of the movie started out well with OK acting, the moment the 1st fight/action scene comes along it goes down hill from there.....I turned it off.
