Jeepers C @RT12312147 10h Cemetery of Terror. What kind of a movie is this, I asked when I seen it at thrift shop? Ok, this is a Mexican horror film that came out in 1985. It was directed by Ruben Galindo jr., at the age of 23. It was his first movie that he had ever directed. I think he did a great job, on the budget he had. The atmosphere is good and the practical effects of the dead people are decent too. There is some practical gore throughout the movie. Some young adults steal the body of a maniac killer who has just been shot and killed by the police. They take the body to the cemetery and perform a satanic ritual that brings him as well as the dead back to life in the cemetery. Some kids are going there for Halloween. They really have a bad night ahead of them. Even though, this has some killing and gore in it, it might be a good horror movie to start a older teen into the world of horror. It is as the directed stated a homage to Michael Jackson's Thriller video. It was a nice first effort. See more Read all reviews
