The film certainly has ambition and there are some memorable fight scenes, but it also lacks the extra oomph that could have done for Bean's action-movie career what Taken did for Liam Neeson's.

CLEANSKIN manages a brutal storyline of realistic urgency that is practically nightmare hypnogogic; coupled with good acting, direction and production, it's fascinating terrorism that really engages in a sobering way.

Brit action thriller with a lot of flaws. Sean Bean screen time was so limited you'll think he's the supporting here. The flashback scenes also were so confusing.

It's a format I've seen before in British crime thriller/political intrigue films, a format I'm not particularly fond of, and Cleanskin isn't even a well done example of it. No letdowns in the acting department though, so credit where credit's due.
