Code 8: Part II never moves beyond a baseline. It is constantly deprived of depth in every area. The visuals may be the only improvement from the first movie, whilst everything else remains the same.

The worst movie I have seen in years. The main characters are so unlikable, so uninteresting, so one is left with no option, but to root for a villain. The villains are smart, human and smart. The main protagonists are not. So I give it one star for an effort. I am told by the system to change my review, it's called bullying and corruption.

So much budget, so many awesome CGI effects... and then they come up with this stupid mini dog from Super? What the heck? Good actors, somehow... Too bad, I liked the first movie.

Follow up to the original code 8. This time Connor has to protect a little girl with a special power who also witnesses some shady business by people in power. About the same as the original, cool but still just average 🍿🍿🍿/5 on Netflix
