Brighton N @RT09904023 2d Cosmic Princess Kaguya! is a beautiful film, both visually and narratively. While it gets bogged down in some weaker animated tropes rooted in virtual avatars and MMO experiences, the core sisterhood and eventual blossoming romance are extraordinary beyond my expectations. If you love fun characters and the beautifully mundane bonds that can overcome anything that comes their way, this is a film that you will hold close to your heart for years to come. Me, a person who was lest a part far away from my friends because they excluded me (and still exclude me). I really love music and how deep the story is. All the songs that were made for the movie are amazing, the animation is unbelievable and how deep it is, is heartbreaking. I cried at the end of the movie. I really love this movie and from now on is going to be my favorite movie. This film was definitely funny and bright with colorful themes but I believe the pacing was really fast..like how did she just magically gain followers through streaming? I thought that was pretty unrealistic. And the fact it took forever for the moon people or whatever to come and get her was really weird making us almost forget this was a remake of the tale. And the dubs singing was absolutely ridiculous..but still a great movie overall. See more Read all reviews
