Attorney Matt Murdock (Ben Affleck) is blind, but his other four senses function with superhuman sharpness. By day, Murdock represents the downtrodden. Worst of all is the finale, which features a protracted duel with villain Bullseye, utilizing copious amounts of bad CG that cheapens the choreography and any potential for a satisfying demise.

How can you not get some enjoyment out of this movie?! I know that in most people's opinion this movie is way out done by the Netflix Daredevil and Daredevil: Born Again, but just because this movie eventually becomes surpassed doesn't mean it's bad! I think there are a lot of things this movie does right! Firstly, I enjoy the dark, gritty, moody feeling of the movie. All the dreary night city scenes and the dark color gradient makes the movie all feel dark and like a total mood. I also think the 2000s Rock soundtrack helps create the moody feeling. I also think the cast is great. I thought that Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Colin Farrell, and Michael Clarke Duncan all give great performances as their characters. But the best part of this movie is the action scenes. Every fight (Matt meeting Elektra, The fight at the church, the final fight between Daredevil and Kingpin, etc.) was well choreographed, fluid, and fun to watch. Overall, if you turn off your brain, this movie is really fun

Don’t waste your time with this, you are so much better off with just watching Charlie Cox’s Daredevil. I honestly think Jennifer Garner as Elektra and Colin Farrell as Bullseye (even though he’s one of the most cartoony villains of all time) are worth watching this for, and I don’t think Ben Affleck would be that bad if he didn’t have such an awful script to work with. Also some of the worst visuals I’ve ever seen, everything looks fake, and the most awkward needle drops. Already said this once, but just don’t bother with this one.

Pretty shallow even for 2000’s standards. The television show blows this movie out of the water so bad, it’s sad. It’s sad because it’s not even a bad movie. Ben Affleck I honestly didn’t despise. I did hate the suit, (hot take) for some reason 2000s comic book movies loved LEATHER. Daredevil suit is leather I will admit, but they barely even dyed it. I would watch again, mainly because I think if I watched again I would find something in the movie that adds detail.
