This coming-of-age film follows the mayhem of a group of rowdy teenagers in Austin, Texas, celebrating the last day of high school in 1976. The graduating class heads for a popular pool hall and joins an impromptu keg party, however star football player Randall Pink Floyd has promised to focus on the championship game and abstain from partying. Meanwhile, the incoming freshmen try to avoid being hazed by the seniors, most notably the sadistic bully Fred O'Bannion.

Really hilarious stoner teen comedy of the 90's with really fascinating we'll know young actors who one of them won an Oscar and brilliant young directer to make this film possible and what is like to be in 1976 and great song choices.

This movie reflected the lives of the popular kids of the time, I'm guessing, back in the 70s and 80s. It didn't really have much of a plot, nor was it bad. It was more of a nostalgic movie that resonated with a lot of people during an era where movies were a much bigger deal than these days (pre-internet). There was no character development, rather it was like a glimpse into the lives of highschool kids. I am genuinely surprised it did so good, because I am unsure a movie like this would do well today. But it is a fun glimpse into the pre-internet past.
