Average Joe's Gym and its owner, Peter La Fleur (Vince Vaughn), are both down on their luck. A fancy competing gym called Globo-Gym, run by the maniacal health nut White Goodman (Ben Stiller), is about to put Average Joe's out of business unless Peter can raise $50,000 to keep his mortgage. To save the gym, Peter and a ragtag group of Average Joe's members and employees enter a dodgeball contest with a big cash prize. In response, White forms his own Globo-Gym team to rout the competition.

Dodgeball is one of my favorite movies. it's about how an owner of a gym whose members are misfits are about to lose it and enter a dodge ball tournament to win prize money to pay the mortgage. it's one of the funniest movies i have seen. Vince Vaughn plays the carefree owner of the 'Average joe's Gym' and Ben Stiller plays one of the most comical and entertaining villains. There are so many funny quotable lines. If you want to see a movie that is loaded with humor and funny references, watch Dodgeball.

It's really not funny... especially not in 2026... but I Imagine of the time it was good. I don't mean about political correctness, I just mean that a lot of the slapstick comedy is kind of obviously from the 90s I don't think I even laughed once
