Duplicity revisits the world of corporate skulduggery Gilroy explored in Michael Clayton, and throws in a spot of Bourne spycraft, but its mood is far far lighter than those films' sweaty intensity and muscular action.

What an utter waste of time. I was hopeful for an entertaining movie given the strong cast, but, for me, this movie went nowhere... and nowhere fast. I know some folks enjoyed this but that was 2 and a bit hours I will never get back.

Mind boggingly stupid direction. Story stretched at places to make it look for smarter and slick than it really is. Acting from the 2 lead actors was the only good thing about this movie. Story was a disaster.. there’s 2 hours of my life I am not getting back

Utterly shocked at the negative reviews don’t believe it for a second. If you like movies with a lot of twists and an ending you won’t predict this is the movie. Throw in a top notch performances with Julia Roberts and Clive Owens, along side a tremendous supporting cast - you get a can’t miss movie. Somehow I didn’t see this when it first came out, so glad to have stumbled upon this joy of a movie.

Don't expect this as your average espionage in linear sense. Its impressively-crafted structure refines non-linear narrative to the point of stretching it thin in declining momentous strength with maintained intelligence intentionally weaving behind the choices made for differential significance. That's secondarily entertaining behind Clive Owen and Julia Robert's electric chemistry participating through unexpected turns in debatably weighed satisfaction. (B)
