Although it's buried in the reviews by all the misogynists, while I've noticed that these same people revere other terrible and boring superhero movies/animes as long as the men are the superheroes in those... But anyway, speaking about this particular movie, all I have to say is that I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy movies. And I'd love to see more movies like this one come out in the future! It tries to be a stylish superhero movie, but it fails on nearly every level. The story is incoherent, the dialogue is cringe-worthy, and the characters feel one-dimensional. Jennifer Garner does her best, but the weak script and over-the-top action sequences make it impossible to take seriously. The pacing drags, and the fight scenes feel repetitive rather than exciting. Too much is happening in here, I lost track of this a couple of times. And the side characters are nothing. I honestly don’t think Jennifer Garner is bad in here, but Elektra feels like an entirely different character than what she was in Daredevil.
