Lee Z @RT29997236 Nov 6 Complete lack of fulfilling endings for any character involved. Sometimes, there's a sad ending, but this was just... nothing. The events ended. The antagonist doesn't get comeuppance. The victims don't get what they wanted, at least not in the spiritual sense. And as for Parker Posey, who some people seem to glow on about... why? She's had so much plastic surgery at this point that she literally cannot emote anymore. That's not me being snide or hateful, it is just a fact. The only face she can make is resting and smiling, and all of the nuance of motion an actor or actress can have is gone, because her aging skin is pulled taut over her face like cling film. It was so horribly distracting every time she was in a scene. So, so hard to just watch her talk. Please, can our society get over this level of plastic surgery? Just age gracefully. You're going to get wrinkles. You're going to sag. Don't make yourself look like an alien trying to fight it, it is SO MUCH WORSE. See more X O @RT27220563 05/05/2023 What a great film. Parker Posey is always so good. She really knows how to project a character. She is so underrated. I found her in her Hal Hartley movies. She's so good. It's why I watched this film. The twist at 30min when the idiot isn't fucking thinkimg could've been done away with as the film doesn't need it, but the acting is fantastic. No melodrama. Really well executed comic quirkiness. Mostly. Parker Posey's character is so strong. That stupid idiot really fucked up. And moss is really astonishing. See more tom m @RT96790832 12/25/2021 Decent. I'm not sure where the fools at the Tomatometer are coming from with some of the reviews, but this movie was superb. The reviews/critics are wrong on this for a 17%. That's just bogus. This is a must-see. Very dramatic, funny, off the wall, different, spontaneous, and well worth the watch. I give it a 5 star. Easily worth your time. I'd suggest it highly.
