The action sequences are pretty awesome as well and I would recommend Extraction to action fans. And it should have ended after Rake falls from the bridge. But otherwise it's a good movie. I wish all action movies were directed like this — it spoiled me in the best (or worst) way. I just wish they hadn’t turned it into a franchise, since I usually prefer self-contained stories. Whenever the film leans into chaos, it works, the action is intense, well choreographed, with sharp camera work. But the second it slows down, it loses steam.
