Obsessed with bringing terrorist Castor Troy (Nicolas Cage) to justice, FBI agent Sean Archer (John Travolta) tracks down Troy, who has boarded a plane in Los Angeles. After the plane crashes and Troy is severely injured, possibly dead, Archer undergoes surgery to remove his face and replace it with Troy's. As Archer tries to use his disguise to elicit information about a bomb from Troy's brother, Troy awakes from a coma and forces the doctor who performed the surgery to give him Archer's face.

Face/Off is probably my all time favorite movie. It has two very good leading actors and keeps you locked in the whole movie and it keeps you waiting and jumping out of your seat to see what's next. The action and tech is very good and the plot is spectacular,

I really wanted to like this movie but this was bad. The action is just so unbelievable and stupid that it draws your intention away from a plot that is supposed to be serious and emotionnal. But then the plot is dumb and the few parts that could have been developped aren't. A complete cheesy waste of time

The opening scene had me hooked then Travolta’s acting was starting to lose me. Then when he was presented with the “face off” concept, he laughed it off the same way I did. In the words of McLovin, you don’t have the technology or the steady hand to pull off a procedure like that! You really have to suspend disbelief for this plot. (I’m trying my best) The freak out post-op was pure comedy. I didn’t expect so many laughs in this one. The guards letting him beat a guy half to death. Then Cage wakes up… he is uncaged in this oh my goodness. Now Travolta is playing Cage and it’s more comedy. Cut to the wife’s pancake booty. Ope he just made a move on his (step?) daughter. Yikes. Later on Danny Masterson attempts to SA her. Someone in casting must have known about him. The shootout at Castor’s house is insane with the kid he didn’t know about. Now trying to convince the wife he was really her husband… man this is batshit crazy. The shootout at the church…. Man I can’t believe I watched this whole thing.
