Goldhaber is an assured craftsman, keenly aware of tone and tension, channeling the grimy visual palette of 20th-century exploitation films, although the ’80s-horror soundtrack homage is such a pastichey cliche these days.

You sympathise with the main character. It is a great commentary on trends and vulgarity. The executions and torture was too much in real time so it was high on tension.

For a movie that is a think piece on the realism of death and how social media has led to the trend of baiting users with nostalgia/replication… Realism was replaced with movie logic in the end. But maybe that’s precisely the point?
