The prospect of Andy Garcia and Gloria Estefan in a Miami Cuban-flavoured remake of Father of the Bride is an intriguing one. Sadly, this new movie strips out everything that made the 1991 Steve Martin version so special.

I really enjoyed Father of the Bride. It is a sweet, heartwarming, and entertaining movie that is easy to watch. The cast has great chemistry, and there are many funny and emotional moments throughout the film. Although the storyline is quite cliché and predictable, it still manages to be enjoyable because of its charm and the strong family relationships it portrays. Overall, I think it’s a nice feel-good movie that is worth watching.

I loved this version of the classic Father of the Bride. The casting was superb Andy Garcia was so perfect for this part and I loved every one of the characters. It felt current it was funny it made me laugh it had all the right ingredients. I highly recommend this movie and I'm so glad I stumbled upon it!

Not worth watching. I thought this movie would have the fun light hearted vibe that the original had, but instead it was depressing (following a story line of the parents of the bride divorcing). There were not even funny moments that landed… very disappointing.
