The movie was a tribute to the brave men who fought on the high seas during WW2, with fine acting by its limited cast. The problem for me was there was no character development, something Tom Hanks is great at because the film was so rushed to get to the battle scenes. I wanted desperately to like Tom Hanks' character but had no reason to.

fast-paced war thriller that puts you right in the middle of a dangerous naval battle. The film keeps the tension high with realistic action, strategic decisions, and a constant feeling of pressure. Tom Hanks delivers a strong and controlled performance as a captain trying to protect his convoy. Short, intense, and a gripping watch for fans of war movies.
