At one point in the film, a character is accused of "profiteering off the miseries of others" and that is exactly what Zombie will do to you if you see this movie.

After 40 years of horror, I’ve moved past the old gatekeeping. If you think a slasher is only scary behind a mask, you’re missing the point. We see Freddy and Jason unmasked; Ghostface is revealed every time. A 7-foot, relentless force of nature stalking you is the true scary part. Tyler Mane’s intensity is far more grounded than a plastic puppet. This Director’s Cut is my favorite. Seeing Michael’s actual face, the hair, the beard, the focus in his eyes makes him real. He is a man fueled by 15 years of silence. Laurie’s bitter, complex reaction to her experience is the most honest portrayal in the genre. The "White Horse" and the return of Deborah give a surreal beauty to the chaos. Michael finally vocalizing his anger at the man who failed him was a perfect conclusion. The family is finally reunited. The loop is closed.

After the first film, this sequel is weird and confuse. My problem for this movie is the violence and brutality scenes, very disoriented. The dottor Loomis character is the worst part in this movie
