Anthony H @Hardy 2d Happy Gilmore 2 tries really hard to bring back the charm of the original, but it just doesn’t hit as hard as the original does. This movie does have some standout moments, but it’s just not as good as the original. It’s got a nice story and is fun. Bad Bunny steals every scene he’s in. As for a film, this is just fine and something you can definitely throw on in the background. I actually thought the first half was really good. I liked how Happy became a multi-time champion and he became a drunk later in life and I liked his kids and I thought the fact John Daly was living in his garage was HILARIOUS! However, the second half of the movie SUCKED! They went into a bunch of science fiction BS and it was just a ridiculous endless series of celebrity cameos. Oh well.
