Toby is a divorced father who's trying to make a better life for his son. His brother Tanner is an ex-convict with a short temper and a loose trigger finger. Together, they plan a series of heists against the bank that's about to foreclose on their family ranch. Standing in their way is Marcus, a Texas Ranger who's only weeks away from retirement. As the siblings plot their final robbery, they must also prepare for a showdown with a crafty lawman who's not ready to ride off into the sunset.

Ben Foster might be the greatest actor today that most people have never heard of. He’s been in a lot of things that many people have seen before but he’s so good at becoming his character that the person, Ben Foster, gets lost in the performance. Everyone already knows Jeff Bridges, and already knows that he’s a great actor, so check out this film for Ben Foster.

Hell or High Water may feel slow at times for many, but the movie benefits from it's raw, gripping tension and its realistic violence. The main cast is phenomenal as well, with Jeff Bridges and Ben Foster shining in their respective roles.

Synopsis
