Maybe The Crooked Man will only appeal to hardcore Hellboy fans who want to see another adaptation of their favorite character, but it is also a very enjoyable riff on folk horror and The Evil Dead with some comic book flourishes.

Im in love with hellboy (my biological father loved him so…). I love the Del Toro movies, i think the 219 one is a fun comedy (at times), and i love the Crooked man. It was a treat seeing it dive into the supernatural side of things while also still being “somewhat” funny.

I have watched all the Hellboys... this one, I truley enjoyed. Its better, less artificial. Like a good ol' classic, with a bit of creepy. Two thumbs up!!

It's a surprising take on Hellboy which has been misinterpreted by so many movies. It takes hellboy back to the dark and gritty emptiness of whichcraft in the apalachian mountains. A feat for every comic fan.

So, this movie is good if your a fan of 2000s superheros you will like this. Bad CGI and all its found away to be different but, nostalgic. Still not better then ron pearlman who can this is still fun.

I love this film personally, its very comic accurate and I think it does the horror elements well enough and it uses it low budget well. So if your looking for comic accurate hellboy this is for you.
