The sound effects are effective and unnerving, but also drown dialogue and I ended up needing to turn on the sub-titles. But really, just don't bother. See more Donald S 01/04/2025 Despite being well shot and decent acting from the lead actress, I couldn't figure out Sawyer's character atall. Plus it was far too long. The sound effects were grating as was the prolonged scenes of nothing happening. Also an incredibly joyless experience. I stopped half way through and gave up, I battled through the rest and regretted wasting my time. It was pointless, there's no motive and the direction was poor because for much of the movie it wasn't clear what on earth was happening.
