It's plain all along that Stewart has little interest in his characters and their troubles except as a means for him to score didactic points, primarily about the evils of unrestricted campaign financing.

Irresistible owns a bold, intelligent idea that despite being unrealistically absurd, it carries an impactful message that I’d love to have seen explored on a deeper level, and not just in the last fifteen minutes.

Irresistible (2020) The film focuses more on politics than on comedy itself. The comedy in this story is quite weak; the characters are nice, but the protagonist is somewhat lackluster and doesn't know what to deliver in his scenes. I believe the script didn't know how to build the narrative effectively.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

Great movie. Satirical, witty, sharp and funny. Very capable cast who all excels in character. Well written and nicely brought to screen by Jon Stewart. Great cinematography. Steve Carell in his element here. Homely element somehow make you feel comfortable. Very entertaining
