Yes, there is a certain „paranoid atmosphere" which kept my attention for a while. But then, the whole plot does not make any sense, and it gets more and more ridiculous. Unfortunately, in this case, it’s the latter. It is a real shame because, with a more solid structure, the potential was immense. Instead, due to rushed execution (especially in the second half) and glaring plot holes, the film ends up being just another teen drama with a horror twist. I truly wonder how it received such high scores; it feels like a product suited only for a younger audience looking for cheap Halloween thrills. Special mention goes to the ending: it attempts to be an artistic cliffhanger, but instead feels abrupt and incoherent, as if the director simply ran out of runtime before finishing the story. See more Jack F @MovieFan111 Mar 20 It is a film that some people will like and some not. I knew about it before, and didn't like what I heard about it, and I thought it was gonna be stupid. But to my surprise, it was actually really good. Enough for 5 stars! Basically it's what happens if Halloween got an STD from Smile! Most people who don't like it is mostly due to the fact that the central theme is sex. While that's true, nothing graphic is shown and is kept tame for the whole movie. The director just wanted to show us a pornographic film. You can see that through pornographic websites. I do not recommend watching the film at all.
