mark G @Mark_Alan_G. Mar 4 It's a pretty good film. It gives a lot of information about Jimi you might not have known. Andre absolutely nailed the voice and mannerisms. Oddly I thought he wasn't talk enough, but turns out, he was same height as Jimi. I guess my perception of Jimi is truly larger than life. It's not a huge/epic film, not a giant budget, but better than that Bohemian Rhapsody nonsense. Let's just say that this this movie is a good introduction to Jimi and what inspired him. The editing is also top-notch and helps convey the lens in which Jimi most likely viewed the world through. Highly recommend if you're fan of Jimi and the era. See more 12/10/2020 Horrible. Ignores the accounts of Jimi's girlfriend in London at the time, and portrays him as a woman-hating, misogynist who beats her. She's written an autobiography for gods sake!
