It’s all so depressingly hollow, doing nothing with interesting themes and finding no entertainment value in its increasingly convoluted nonsense. This house is a tear-down.

Some reviewers saying this is fun with dark humour, there's no humour just clichés and an attempt to be unusual and there's nothing original in there as other movies and shows having taken this parody approach. It just drags on and on, Nick and Alicia must be struggling for parts becuase this is not a highlight after many decades of good work as actors. Avoid

It truly sucks that the majority of audiences didn’t and won’t get or enjoy this film. Just because it’s different shouldn’t detract from how original and wildly fun this was. I’m honestly surprised this isn’t a kasper Kelly “too many cooks” production. The movie kept me entertained the entire run. Nick frost played a lovable bumbling sitcom dad, Alecia silverstone held her own as a off kiltered mother. Usually with films this wild I like to be left in the dark about the films true intentions so I can make my own assumptions. But the short back story in the 3rd act was actually well executed. The 3rd act also really picks up a lot and is filled with intense bloody gore any horror fan should love. So if you love informercials, David lynch or just zany fun films then don’t sleep on this one.

If you're one of those whiny top critic people you're not going to enjoy this movie. Reason why? The top critic people are usually prudes and prejudiced and have absolutely no sense of humor or taste. If you enjoy dark humor and religious jokes, this is for you. If you're uptight and have your nose stuck up in the air and people paying you money to say stuff, it's not going to be for you. Stop listening to the top critic people. They get paid to influence you
