Living large and loving life, Po realizes that he has a lot to learn if he's going to fulfill the next challenge from his beloved instructor. The biggest problem with “Kung Fu Panda 3” is tone: while the first two films WERE funny, the third film TRIES to be funny with too much hyperactivity and “gags” everywhere, saturating the viewers instead of making them laugh. Full review in Spanish.

While this is the weakest of the now four feature films, it does give Po his father and show his two fathers negotiating team parenting. Po must find his chi and fight jade zombies with the help of his biological father's panda village.

Definitely the worst of the three. Think they tried to tackle too much in this film tho. It was some good ideas, I just don't think they meshed the best. I would've thought this was a nice way to end the trilogy tho until I realized there was a forth film. My excitement is not the greatest...

Kung Fu Panda 3 is a cozy but safe conclusion to the trilogy. While lacking the bold risks of the second film, it delivers a heartwarming and visually stunning experience. The script is the weakest link, moving at a rushed pace and relying too heavily on jokes that undercut genuine tension. The action abandons gritty martial arts for cosmic fantasy, the Furious Five are largely wasted, and the villain Kai is incredibly shallow despite great voice acting. However, the film truly excels in its emotional core: Po’s transition from student to teacher, and the mature, touching dynamic between his two dads. Aesthetically, the movie is a masterpiece, boasting jaw-dropping 3D animation, brilliant world-building, and a phenomenal score by Hans Zimmer. Ultimately, despite an average story, its massive heart and breathtaking visuals make it a highly entertaining and nostalgic watch.
