Claudio C @Claudio666 1d The Rare and Incurable XP (12,371 –02 Apr 2026) In France, the eleven-year-old boy Romain has the rare XP, disorder characterized by extreme UV sensitivity due to a deficient DNA repair mechanism. Dr. David treats him since he was a baby and becomes his friend, helping him to fight the disease. When Dr. David is invited to be Director of the World Health Organization (WHO), his replacement Dr. Carlotta has no experience in XP and Dr. David has a friction with her. Further, he is not able to tell Romain that he will move to Belgium. "La permission de minuit", a.k.a. "The Moon Child" (2011), is a great French film by Delphine Gleize that shows to the viewer the rare and incurable XP. \i believe many (or most) of the viewers did not know this disorder, and the film is very detailed. Vincent Lindon, as usual, has a top-notch performance and the boy Quentin Challal surprises with magnificent performance. My vote is seven.
