If you’re looking for something to scratch a Die Hard itch, that is certainly what Last Resort is trying to do, but there are many superior Die Hard rip-offs available -- or you could just watch Die Hard.

The movie was written and directed by Jean-Marc Minéo, who is highly trained in martial arts. He could have stood some training in cinematic spatial relations.

The lead is fun to watch in action sequences, these moments are probably the movies strongest points. The acting feels stiff in a handful of areas, and the story begins to drag a little too long towards the middle and end. I think, from a storytelling perspective, there was a better way to handle the connections between protag and antagonist. Other than that, it's fine to throw on if you just want something that isn't overly complicated and has action packed sequences.
