Beto B @RT83152703 8h Esse filme é um desserviço ao cinema russo. É uma lástima, é patético, mas se vc tem 2 horas de tempo sobrando, e gosta de si aborrecer, pode assistir. Vc vai conseguir. Honestly and objectively, I can’t remember a worse movie in my life, corny, unrealistic, cliché, boring, and not even funny. Just avoid. See more Vincent G @RT11656629 Aug 23 Last Signal is a grounded, human-scale slice of science fiction: part disaster movie, part survival drama, anchored by a father–daughter bond. The film moves between Earthbound chaos and the quiet isolation of space, using that split perspective to keep tension simmering without turning into empty spectacle. The visual effects are sturdy, the sound design does a lot of heavy lifting, and several set-pieces feel tactile and well staged. For a mid-budget production, it looks and sounds convincing enough to sell the stakes. Where it falters is on the page. Some beats are predictable, a few lines over-explain what the images already show, and the science is occasionally hand-wavy. The pacing can wobble—stretches of melodrama slow the momentum before the next crisis snaps it back into focus. Still, the emotional through-line generally works, and the film remains accessible even if you don’t live and breathe hard sci-fi. And then there’s the context. It’s hard—if not impossible—to watch a contemporary Russian film without thinking about the atrocities committed in Ukraine. That reality colors the experience. No matter the good work of individual artists, the cultural export is shadowed by political choices and the harm they enabled. It’s sad, but it’s there, and it affects how the film lands. Bottom line: As a sci-fi fan, I think Last Signal is a good movie—earnest, engaging, and technically solid—whose impact is unavoidably complicated by the present geopolitical context. See more Zachary Jacob S @RT29975639 Jul 27 Terribly dubbed. Annoying characters. Shallow. The highlight is the impressive spectacle, and some good cinematography. This dubbed version was borderline unwatchable. I actually couldn't finish it. Maybe try Greenland if you want a recommendation of a similar film, but done right, in my opinion. If you liked "Last Signal", all power to you! It just wasn't for me. See more Koi P @hopep Jul 12 Well written and acted characters. Suspensful. Good story line. See more Read all reviews
