In the age of suffocating political correctness and total dictate of simulacrums of different sorts and forms, Alberto Serra managed to make a fabulous film. I really appreciate his efforts to camouflage and to hide behind all these naked bodies wandering in a wood. Overall this film is a strange reminiscence of life stream from the Europarliament in Strasburg. 1 Sense of humor. I really appreciate this gift in any artist. Especially self-irony is priceless. 2 Idealism of the highest caliber. Only true purist and moralist can make such a 'promiscuous' film. Interesting what Haneke or Seidl would say about Liberte. I think that they will love it! 3 I really like that he has such a brave approach towards filmmaking. He opens a new era in art-house for sure. And I'm super happy about it. I need to be tricked and fooled by a true artist like Albert Serra. viva la revolution! Thank you, dear Alberto! The best of luck to you!~
