L J @Cracky Jan 19 The AI is pretty cool, but the house is Creepy! See more Dustin A @Sandman3030150 Jan 14 Margaux feels like someone had 3 ideas for a movie and went with the worst parts of all 3. It wants to be a commentary on our usage of social media, the dangers of ai, and a hacker vs runaway computer story. And like I said it fails to do any of those right. The characters are mildly amusing if extremely one note. The kills may have been interesting if not for the atrocious cgi. There are a few parts that are interesting, the stoners ( by the way I think cabin in the woods is owed royalties) death was funny. Margaux's personailty manages to walk that thin line between funny cringe and horrible "well hello there my fellow young people " cringe. Honestly it rates in the "well I don't want my 90 minutes back" class of movies. See more Louise M @RT49680530 01/07/2025 Poor CGI, average acting and predictable storyline makes Margaux a hard watch. Yes there are some creative death scenes, however most of them are “been there done that”. It feels like the film was supposed to centre around technological advances, and modern Artificial Intelligence, however the peak technology displayed was the words “Coding”, “Virus” and “mega bite”. Shame really as there was potential for the storyline to develop, however it went the way we all expected. See more Read all reviews
