Dan R H 4d There's some great acting, dialogue, and overall atmosphere but the weirder horror bits never landed for me and took me out of it. The Music is pretty good. See more Ann Catherine 6d Haunting, enrapturing, and absolutely gorgeous. The music sung by Anne Hathaway and the score by Daniel Hart are magnificent. Michaela Coel and Anne Hathaway are electric together and even though their roles were smaller, FKA Twigs and Hunter Schaefer were standouts as well. I love this movie! See more DOps May 7 This was an odd movie -- some interpersonal soap opera, some existential quandary, and some spiritual interjections. Kind of hard to figure out. I felt like I was in an art exhibition and, although felt ok to keep looking, never quite understood what the artist was trying to convey. This was stylish and well-acted. It was never clear whether Maia and Mary were lovers or should have been. The ending was also kind of ambiguous -- like you turned a corner at that art show expecting some resolution and suddenly realized that you had gone through an exit with no way back in.
