Avon X @RT20415158 3d I did not expect much, but unlike so many over hyped films. I was surprised it was pretty good, a solid thriller well worth watching. If you enjoyed the Neeson offerings you will probably like this. Bought on DVD. See more Richard B @Komard Jan 10 Never Let Go ultimately delivers a strong payoff that justifies its uneven pacing. The film starts slowly and occasionally struggles with momentum, but once the story reveals its deeper conspiracy, it becomes a gripping, emotionally charged action thriller. The plot twist involving Sophia’s father, Clark, and the conspiracy surrounding the murder of a federal agent is handled effectively and adds real weight to the narrative. While the film clearly operates in B-movie territory, the story itself is well executed and easy to follow, even when the pacing lags. A tighter, more relentless rhythm—closer to a John Wick–style pace—could have elevated it significantly. Where the film succeeds most is its message. By tying the action to the real-world issue of child kidnapping, it gives the story meaning beyond spectacle. The final twist—saving not only Sophia but also Jake—lands as a satisfying and earned conclusion. Flawed, but impactful and worth watching. See more T S @SamTCat Nov 26 Almost didn't stick with this because the beginning was really confusing - the main character who is about my age (not young) just had a baby and then for some strange reason, got the urge to take her to some sketchy-looking sub-saharan outpost ... all by herself? It wasn't very believable. But then the action got good - and I love action movies. It did remind me a bit of a female version of Taken. Wound up enjoying it, even if it was predictable. So the mother, who is regarded as a second class citizen, has to fight not only the criminals but the authorities too. But the film is well presented and exciting and we're all rooting for the mother to get her baby back against all the odds. See more 01/22/2021 Great movie to watch with your family and friends!
